Residence is the official boutique inside Le Comptoir Général, a 1200 m² cultural venue on the Canal Saint-Martin.
A place known for its immersive rooms, retro atmospheres and iconic creative identity. It’s one of the most singular venues in Paris: part museum, part boutique, café, restaurant, bar, club and cultural playground. It was built like a storybook: rooms inspired by iconic eras, retro fantasies, and sun-drenched geographies, from Mexico to California, from the Caribbean to Sicily.
You enter along the Canal Saint-Martin and then the journey begins.
1. Residence Boutique
A balneary boutique inspired by the Casa Organica of Javier Senosiain (1985).
Soft curves, warm textures, sun-washed materials. This is where Residence lives: a curated world of vintage fashion, independent designers and design objects. A perfect front-of-house for brands looking for visibility, sales and a beautiful retail moment in Paris.
2. Residence Gallery
Take a step forward and you enter another era. A gallery inspired by a California golf clubhouse in the 1980s, mahogany tones, resort energy, west-coast nonchalance. A space ideal for fashion installations, showcases, pop-ups and creative activations.
3. Cinema Lobby
A retro lobby leading to the infamous Bateau Room. Posters, lights, wood, the feeling of waiting for a film that hasn’t been made yet. Perfect for editorial shoots, intimate presentations or brand storytelling.
4. Caribbean Bar
A festive room inspired by Caribbean nights, wooden decks, warm colours, tropical nostalgia. A legendary bar and dancefloor that becomes a creative stage after dark. Here, Residents can host afterparties, live shows, DJ sets, launch nights.
5. Oasis Mezzanine
A mezzanine shaped like a dry oasis, sand tones, woven textures, sculptural silhouettes. A calm space ideal for press appointments, private viewings, fittings and small gatherings.
6. Corridor of Curiosities
Shelves, archives, objects, shadows. An atmospheric space that feels like a museum of someone’s dreams. For photo moments, storytelling, installations, or simply the joy of wandering.
7. Sicilian Garden
A hidden courtyard drenched in Mediterranean green. A place to breathe, sit, talk, read, take meetings, a perfect backdrop for editorial shoots, coffee activations, garden parties, or creator gatherings.
8. 70s Riviera Restaurant
You end in a restaurant inspired by a 1970s Californian villa. terracotta, wood, palms, warm elegance. A place for dinners, brand events, private experiences, capsule launches, or press breakfasts.
